HRG Heisterner Holz Recycling GmbH
Treatment and sorting center of contaminated waste and residual timber
Since 1992, the company has been operating a treatment and sorting centre in the Sandersdorf industrial and commercial park (district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld) to accept, process and recycle contaminated waste and residual wood. On an area spanning more than 50,000 m², up to 150,000 t of timber of all contamination grades can be handled and processed annually.
The facility was approved in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), in conjunction with No. 8.10 (now 8.11) Column 1 of the Annex to the Fourth Ordinance on the Implementation of the Federal Immission Control Act, by the Dessau Regional Council, and now the Halle Regional Administrative Office.
HRG Heisterner Holz Recycling GmbH is a high-performance service provider that has earned a reputation far beyond the borders of Saxony-Anhalt as a reliable recycler of contaminated wood.
In our efforts to underpin the company philosophy, validation in accordance with the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and certification in accordance with DIN ISO 14001 took place in April 1998. Certification as a specialist waste management company and membership of the Saxony-Anhalt Environmental Alliance (Umweltallianz Sachsen-Anhalt) were also a matter of course.
