Everyone knows about bulky waste and everyone has it. Bulky waste disposal, therefore, includes all furnishings from the household that cannot be disposed of with the household waste in a rubbish bin because of their size. Bulky waste examples include: Furniture, tables, chairs, couch, garden furniture, large children’s toys, scrap metal, bicycles, etc.
As a rule, wood, paper, cardboard and metal are sorted out and recycled from the collection of bulky waste. The rest is thermally utilised as substitute fuel.
Many electrical appliances contain harmful substances and must, therefore, be disposed of separately – they must not be disposed of with bulky waste. Also please do not mix this with construction waste, car tyres, batteries or pollutants of any kind (paints, varnishes, solvents, acids, etc.).
